Medical Sales Representative in Major Metropolitan Area


We are seeking a smart, curious, talented, and hungry business professional with a startup / hustler mentality to join on our growing team. This person will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for achievement of annual sales goals and other related objectives related to expanding ColoWrap usage within their Territory. This position is ideal for the candidate who:

  • Excelled in your area of study or previous position;

  • Is strategic, independent, and highly-resourceful but is willing to embrace a prescriptive sales structure for moving the product through the sales process;

  • Embraces technology and its use in establishing and tracking engagements;

  • Is seeking a sales position where the sky is the limit in terms of earnings / compensation;

  • Is seeking a role with strategic responsibilities and the opportunity to influence the direction of the Company;

  • Is passionate about colorectal cancer prevention and/or the value of simple, practical innovations to improve care and reduce costs.


  • Develop and maintain strong understanding of colonoscopy and ColoWrap, and what the product does / how it works, and the clinical and economic benefits associated with its use.

  • Identify and develop new accounts that align with the Company’s sales and marketing strategy.

  • Plan, manage, and execute product evaluations leading to purchase & solution implementation.

  • Serve as point person throughout purchasing process, including interaction with hospital value-analysis-committees.

  • Grow accounts through frequent on-site visits and the development of strong customer relationships.

  • Consistently and accurately capture and log sales / clinical information into the Company’s CRM platform.

  • Represent the Company at local and regional tradeshows and medical conferences.

  • Contribute ideas for product and sales process improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date on market dynamics.


  • Proven track record of success in your industry or studies

  • Outstanding computer skills

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Excellent listening skills

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

  • Superb work ethic and commitment to success

  • Up to 50% overnight travel annually

  • Able to move up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. regularly


  • Attended a top-tier university for undergrad and excelled

  • Attended post-graduate school

  • Has had notable previous success selling clinical (e.g. used with / on a patient) tools & technologies) that challenge the status quo to physicians and hospitals

  • Has experience in getting in front of physicians at their group practice

  • Has a working knowledge of the hospital purchasing process and how to best position and advance the sale of a new clinical solution

  • Familiarity with GI, endoscopy, gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons

  • Experience working in a startup environment


  • $60,000 base

  • Staggered 20/7/5 percent per year commission structure with $400k annual quota

  • Car and cell phone allowance
